Our client is looking for an experienced Senior Business Analyst to support a large-scale Cyber Security Program within a complex IM and ICT environment. The role focuses on identifying, analysing, and documenting current and future state business processes and requirements to support delivery of secure, integrated, and effective infrastructure technology solutions across multiple cyber security initiatives.

Key responsibilities

- Capture and analyse As Is and To Be business processes using approved methods and tools
- Develop business and software requirements specifications for cyber security projects with end to end traceability
- Apply business analysis techniques, risk, issue, and benefits management to deliver quality outcomes
- Support testing activities by working closely with test teams to embed requirements
- Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Facilitate workshops, consultations, and communication across project teams
- Contribute to stakeholder analysis, stakeholder matrices, and ongoing engagement
- Mentor and support other Business Analysts within the program
- Contribute to continuous improvement of the Business Analysis practice
- Follow service quality, workplace health and safety policies, and procedures

Highly desirable criteria

- Experience delivering business analysis across cyber security initiatives such as vulnerability management, endpoint protection, MFA, and privilege management




- Strong knowledge of business analysis methodologies aligned with BABOK Version 3
- Experience producing BPMN process models
- Proven ability to translate data into insights using Excel, SQL, or Power BI
- Experience within healthcare, health IT, or digital health environments
- Exposure to large scale government or enterprise ICT programs
- Relevant tertiary qualification

- Demonstrated experience leading and performing business analysis activities
- Strong stakeholder engagement, facilitation, and communication skills
- Ability to work collaboratively within multidisciplinary teams
- Experience mentoring or guiding other Business Analysts
- Solid written documentation skills in project environments
- Contract role within a large-scale Queensland state government cyber security program
- Exposure to enterprise level cyber security initiatives
- Prospect to contribute to statewide digital health outcomes
