Overview

Role Description: Power BI engineer with 5 - 7 years of reporting development experience.

Qualifications

- Power BI Report development.
- Building Analysis Services reporting models.
- Developing visual reports, KPI scorecards, and dashboards using Power BI desktop.
- Connecting data sources, importing data, and transforming data for Business intelligence.
- Analytical thinking for translating data into informative reports and visuals.
- Capable of implementing row-level security on data along with an understanding of application security layer models in Power BI.
- Edge in making DAX queries in Power BI desktop.
- Expert in using advanced-level calculations on the data set.
- Responsible for design methodology and project documentaries.




- Develop tabular and multidimensional models that are compatible with data warehouse standards.
- Very positive communication skills; able to discuss requirements effectively with client teams and internal teams.
- Knowledge and/or experience with Agile techniques: User Stories, Continuous Integration, Automated Testing.
- Software delivery technical skills such as CI/CD, automated deployments, automated testing, software/source code configuration management.
- Platform automation tools (AWS, Jenkins, GITHUB).
- Workflow tools such as JIRA / Rally.
- Exposure to Cloud: AWS (S3, EMR, EC2, etc.), Azure.
