What You’ll Do

- Take ownership of a varied portfolio of general insurance claims—think Public Liability, Professional Indemnity, Product Liability, Management Liability, and D&O.;
- Be the trusted advisor for brokers, insureds, and service providers, building relationships that matter.
- Lead the way in delivering fast, fair, and high-quality claims outcomes—your decisions will make a real difference.
- Mentor and empower junior claims professionals, helping them reach their potential.
- Champion best practice and continuous improvement, collaborating with underwriters and other teams to drive innovation.
- Dive into claims analysis and reporting, providing insights that shape strategy.




- Be a key contributor in team meetings and process improvement initiatives.

The Candidate - Skills, Qualifications & Experience

About you

You’re an experienced insurance qualified who thrives on challenge and variety. You bring energy, curiosity, and a solutions-focused mindset to everything you do.

- 5+ years’ experience in insurance claims or law.
- Deep expertise in Financial Lines or Public Liability claims.
- Proven track record managing complex claims and delivering outstanding results.
- Excellent communicator and relationship builder.
- Tech-savvy, with strong skills in Microsoft Office and claims systems.
- Commercially minded, risk-aware, and always looking for a better way.
- Passionate about mentoring and developing others.

Bonus Points For

- Tertiary qualifications in Law, Business/Commerce, or a related field.
- Experience with corporate auditing and process improvement.
