Job Overview

Our client is a global manufacturer of high-performance packaging machinery and is expanding their service team across NSW and Victoria. They supply advanced systems including thermoforming, flow wrapping, tray sealing, vertical form fill & seal, and other automated packaging technologies. With strong market demand and a growing customer base, they are seeking an experienced Service Technician to deliver onsite service, commissioning, and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

- Install, service, and maintain automated packaging and filling equipment
- Diagnose electrical and mechanical faults and perform breakdown repairs
- Provide onsite training and support to operators and customers
- Interpret technical documentation, diagrams, and customer requirements
- Prepare service reports, quotes, and documentation
- Travel to metro and regional client sites as required (most travel is local and within state)
- Maintain professional communication with customers and internal teams




- Manage priorities in a fast-paced, customer-driven environment

About You

- Electrical/Electronic Trade Certificate III, Disconnect/Reconnect license, or Mechanical trade background
- 2+ years’ post-trade experience in servicing industrial machinery
- Strong electrical and mechanical troubleshooting capability
- Experience working independently in field service environments
- Solid customer service, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and documentation
- Computer literacy (Microsoft Office and related software)
- Positive attitude, willingness to learn, and team-oriented mindset
