THIS ROLE WILL BE BASED OUT OF MEROTHERIE CAMP AND SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATES WILL BE ENGAGED ON A 14/7 BUS IN BUS OUT ROSTER.
ACEREZ, a partnership of ACCIONA, COBRA and Endeavour Energy, has been appointed network operator by EnergyCo to design, build, finance, operate and maintain the Central-West Orana Renewable Energy Zone (REZ) transmission network. The ACCIONA COBRA Joint Venture (ACJV), the design and construct (D&C;) consortium, will design and build the Central-West Orana REZ transmission project.
The new transmission network infrastructure will deliver at least 4.5 gigawatts of new network capacity from 2028 to connect 7.7 gigawatts of wind and solar projects, which is enough to power more than 2 million homes each year.

Our Central-West Orana project is currently seeking a dedicated Environmental Coordinator to share their expertise within our growing Environmental & Sustainability team. You will support the team with implementing the requirements of the Project's Construction Environment Management Plan.
Key Responsibilities
- Implement the CEMP and comply with EPL requirements.
- Conduct noise and vibration assessments and draft out-of-hours work permits.
- Undertake environmental monitoring and regular site inspections.
- Participate in client inspections, ensuring timely close‑out of actions and reporting.
- Proactively mitigate environmental and compliance risks with site teams.
- Conduct incident investigations, manage reporting, and keep waste registers up to date.
- Drive sustainability efforts and conduct environmental training sessions.
- Champion environmental management, safety, and sustainability, ensuring compliance with standards and promoting a positive culture.
Criteria for Selection
- Preferably 3+ years in Environmental Management within Construction, Engineering or other relevant experience.
- Bachelor's degree in environmental engineering, Science, Sustainability or Certificate IV Environment.
- Proven ability to work and collaborate as part of a team.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Previous experience contributing to a large project is highly desirable but not essential.
