Base pay range

A$100,000.00/yr - A$110,000.00/yr

About the client

This is a large and complex international group with multiple business units, each run with real ownership and accountability. The finance team is flat, collaborative, and in the middle of change, which means there’s plenty of scope to step in and make an impact.

About the role

You’ll take full ownership of the accounting for a business unit. That means managing the P&L; and balance sheet, getting the numbers right at month-end, and being the go-to for auditors and external advisors. You’ll be trusted straight away with a full end-to-end role.

In practice, you’ll:

- Run the month-end close for your entity, from journals and reconciliations through to analysis of variances.
- Lead the audit process, making sure the detail stacks up.
- Partner with AR/AP teams, commercial stakeholders, and head office to challenge assumptions and lift standards.
- Support wider finance projects, freeing up senior team members to focus on process improvement.

About You

You’re CA or CPA qualified,



with three to five years’ post-qualification experience behind you. Your technical accounting skills are solid, and you’ve got the confidence to look at numbers critically, challenge processes, and ask the right questions. More than anything, you bring energy and curiosity. You’re someone who adds “spark” to a team and isn’t afraid of change.
