This position sits within a collaborative, business-facing team that plays a key role in driving ongoing organisational transformation. It’s an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys variety, problem-solving, and engaging with stakeholders across multiple parts of the organisation.

You will contribute across three core workstreams:

- Ideation: Assessing operational challenges, framing early-stage problems, and identifying opportunities for improvement.
- Assessments & Proposals: Conducting short-form investigations, feasibility assessments, and developing succinct recommendations for decision-makers.
- Delivery: Leading small, well-scoped projects (typically three months in duration) while balancing analysis, engaging stakeholders, defining requirements, and ensuring effective follow-through.

Key Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst embedded in a service-delivery-focused capability, you will:

- Align personal leadership behaviour and ethical standards with organisational values and care principles.




- Support the identification of challenges and opportunities, converting these into explicit, prioritised problem statements.
- Proactively work with stakeholders to uncover operational pain points and opportunities for improvement.
- Build strong relationships to understand day-to-day operations and identify improvement areas.
- Analyse and document business processes, workflows, and system interactions to inform decision-making.
- Elicit, analyse, validate, document, and manage business requirements in collaboration with stakeholders.
- Assist in evaluating and enhancing existing systems and tools to improve efficiency and user experience.
- Contribute to small-scale business changes, enhancements, or assessments.
- Maintain clear and concise documentation, including requirements, process maps, problem statements, and benefits.
- Work within established project frameworks to support planning, design, development, and deployment of business change.
- Conduct market analysis and research on software/hardware products to support option assessments.
- Take responsibility for timely delivery of business analysis tasks within projects.




- Share knowledge and collaborate with fellow business analysts to promote best practice and continuous improvement.
- Proven ability in core business analysis skills, including root-cause analysis, benefits elicitation, options assessment, process modelling, requirements management, and stakeholder mapping
- Experience partnering with stakeholders to identify and implement improvements
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities, with high attention to detail
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability to engage stakeholders at all levels
- Proficiency with business analysis tools (e.g., process mapping tools, requirements software, project management systems)
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritise effectively, and deliver quality outcomes
- Current driver’s licence and willingness to travel locally if required
- Ability to meet vaccination requirements and relevant probity checks

Highly Desirable

- Experience with BPMN 2.0
- Experience using Microsoft tools such as DevOps and Visio
- Experience in waterfall projects (including Prince2-aligned documentation)
- Experience working in Agile teams (Scrum or Kanban)
- Formal training or certification in business analysis methodologies (e.g., Lean Six Sigma, BABOK, IIBA)
