The Advancement & Alumni Unit (A&AU;) leads the University's strategy and programs for alumni and philanthropic engagement. We partner with people who share our aspirations for a better future and collaborate to inspire, mobilise and nurture meaningful engagement with our global alumni and philanthropic communities.

About the Role

The Philanthropy Coordinator supports the delivery of UTS’s philanthropic fundraising program by managing initiatives that inspire major and transformational gifts. Reporting to the Senior Philanthropy Manager, the role works closely with research leaders and support staff to ensure compliance with UTS procedures for requesting and receiving philanthropic support, including grant acceptance. The position also leads the coordination of announcements for major philanthropic investments, celebrating donor impact on research, student success, and strategic initiatives to foster transparency, recognition, and shared achievement. In partnership with fundraisers and internal teams, the coordinator ensures donor experiences are aligned with university priorities.

If successful in applying for this role, you will be responsible for:

- Delivering personalised donor visits and events, including targeted guest list coordination.
- Managing a portfolio of Trust and Foundation donors and secure $50K–$250K grants.
- Preparing key donor-facing communications including proposals, briefings, and impact reports.
- Maintaining CRM records, improve processes, and coordinate donor activities across teams.

Solid organizational and project management skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities and deliver high-quality outcomes.
2. Ability to work across diverse topics and represent multiple stakeholder interests.
3. Demonstrated experience in preparing philanthropic proposals and grant applications, with an understanding of donor centred communications.
4. Proven ability to build positive relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
5. Awareness of data governance, privacy, and compliance requirements.

Base Salary Range: $97,332 - $105,385 pa (HEW 6)

This role attracts 17% superannuation (pension) in addition to the base salary.

This position is full-time , and appointment will be made on a continuing basis.
