Senior Security Consultant, Assurance (Offensive Security)

Brisbane, Melbourne, Sydney | Hybrid | Permanent

If you’re a senior penetration tester who loves breaking things properly - and helping organisations fix what matters - this role is for you.

We’re growing our Offensive Security practice at Infotrust and are looking for a hands‑on Senior Assurance Consultant to lead delivery across high-impact testing engagements. You’ll work across web applications, APIs, external and internal infrastructure, cloud, and mobile environments - shaping testing approaches based on real risk while helping uplift the capability of the wider team.

This is a role for someone who wants to stay technical, take ownership of interesting and complex assessments, help mentor and develop junior consultants, and actively set the standard for how modern and effective offensive security services should be delivered.

The Role

- Lead and deliver diverse penetration testing engagements across web applications, APIs, infrastructure, cloud, and mobile environments
- Support the scoping of engagements, tailoring testing approaches to suit customer requirements and risk focus areas
- Produce explicit, evidence-based findings with practical, prioritised remediation guidanceright
- Support advanced engagements including red team and assumed breach activities where required
- Mentor junior consultants and help uplift technical capability across the team
- Represent Infotrust Offensive Security in client briefings,



debriefs, and technical discussions

About You

We’re after people who can demonstrate technical proficiency, have strong communication skills, and have a genuine passion for offensive security.

- Strong hands‑on experience in penetration testing across multiple domains
- Practical understanding of modern attack techniques across on‑premise and cloud environments
- Ability to clearly articulate technical risk to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Confidence working autonomously in client‑facing environments
- An interest in leadership, mentoring, and technical capability development
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills

Nice to have (not mandatory)

- OSCP, OSCE, CPTS, OSWE, OSEP, or CREST certifications
- Red/purple team exposure
- Team leadership experience
