Primary Teacher – Morawa District High School

Permanent full‑time position commencing as soon as possible.

Role Overview

Teach and support students from Pre‑Primary to Year 6 in a high‑performing independent public school.

Responsibilities

- Plan and deliver engaging, inclusive lessons aligned with the Western Australian Curriculum.
- Foster a safe, accountable, and differentiated learning environment.
- Use the Quality Teaching Strategy and Positive Behaviour Support expectations.
- Collaborate with colleagues, staff, parents, and the wider community.
- Engage in ongoing professional learning and support whole‑school processes.

Qualifications & Experience

- Sound knowledge of the Western Australian Curriculum and commitment to the Quality Teaching Strategy.
- Experience delivering high‑impact lessons to Pre‑Primary to Year 6 students.
- Strong organisational, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Evidence of exemplary teaching skills with capacity to cultivate a differentiated learning setting.
- Willingness to engage in ongoing professional learning and support whole‑school processes.





Eligibility

- Aust. or NZ citizen, permanent resident, or visa holder with relevant work rights.
- Must have a WA Working with Children Check.

- Country Teaching Program Allowance: $10,210 per year.
- District allowance: $3,210 per year.
