Client: Translation and Interpretation Services Company

Position: Interpreter (100% Work from Home) - Based in Thailand

Location: Work From Home (Based in Thailand)

Job Scope: Consecutive interpretation – Live conversation Doc & Patient, Banker and client etc.

Working Hours: 100% night shift that changes monthly. Entry points can be any hour from 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, 12am, 1am, 2am, 3am etc (8 hours online per shift, 40 hours online per week MINIMUM)

Salary: Basic package up to THB 55,000

Interpreter will work from home 100 % and night shift only since the customers are US based.

Job Responsibilities

- Will the role involve consecutive or simultaneous interpretation? – Consecutive interpretation
- It primarily phone, video, or text-based interpretation? – Voice & Video. Start with voice then progress to video after 3 months probation
- Will interpreters handle live conversations or pre-recorded translations? – Live conversation Doc & Patient, Banker and client etc.

Industry & Clients

- What type of clients or industries does this role support (e.g., healthcare, legal, customer service, government services)? – All mentioned. Medical (All departments, hospital, clinic, ER / Police / Bank / Insurance / Immigration / Social services and more
- Are there any specific terminologies or areas of expertise required? – Yes, from all the above industries

Work Schedule & Availability

- Are interpreters expected to work fixed shifts, on-demand,



or flexible hours? – 100% night shift that changes monthly. Entry points can be any hour from 7pm, 8pm, 9pm, 10pm, 11pm, 12am, 1am, 2am, 3am etc
- Is this a full time, part-time, or freelance/contract position? – 100% full-time only
- Are there minimum hours per week required? – 8 hours online per shift, 40 hours online per week MINIMUM

Qualifications & Requirements

- Are there specific certifications or prior interpreting experience needed? – No, training will be provided. If you have prior experience it will be a bonus
- Do candidates need to undergo language proficiency tests or training? – Yes. Language assessment to qualify for program and a test after 3 weeks training. If fail the test the candidate cannot become interpreter
- Is there any technical setup required (e.g., specific headset, internet speed, or software tools)? – Internet package speed minimum 100 Mbps if unified or higher with other ISP
- What is the payment structure (hourly rate, per-call, per-minute, fixed salary)? – Monthly salary depends on location. Salary range starts with a basic package up to THB 45,000 to THB 55,000
- Are there additional benefits for remote interpreters? – Career growth: after 24 months of service and when there is opening for trainer or team leader, applicant can apply
