Salary: Guaranteed annual earnings of $76,515 - $80,000 plus superannuation

Position Purpose
Alpha Flight Services Pty Ltd (trading as dnata catering & retail) is looking for several Truck Drivers to work in Perth, Western Australia.
Responsibilities
- Operating a medium rigid MR vehicle
- Responsible for loading and unloading of galley equipment onto a truck, driving the truck to various types of aircraft, and loading the equipment
- Liaise with customers and hand over delivery
- Preparation and packing of catering equipment
- Perform driving duties (short distance)
- Responsible for marshalling other Drivers on the tarmac to position the truck in line with company, airport and/or airline policies
- Perform basic serviceability and daily maintenance checks of vehicles and equipment, including the refuelling of vehicles
- Perform administrative duties (reporting) and compile reports and documents
- Report all vehicle/plant defects as per Company procedures
- Assemble, pack and check off completed flight at kitchen production unit and on board the aircraft
- Follow up any discrepancies and ensure flight is correct
- General cleaning duties of aircraft galleys, vehicles and cabin service areas
- Play a buddy role to welcome new Workers by providing advice and guidance on the day-to-day aspects of working at the Company
- Perform such tasks in accordance with Company specifications, to comply with hygiene, quality, safety, performance and customer service standards
- Ensure adherence to Galley Loading Plan (GLP), Cart Packing Plan (CPP) and Equipment Loading Plan (ELP) as applicable to the role
- Adhere to the Company's policy in relation to HALAL, HACCP, QSAI / Food Safety, Workplace Health and Safety, Quarantine and Customs as applicable to the role
- Work in other areas of the unit for part or whole of shift basis to meet operational demands.
Skills and Attributes
- At least 1 year of experience as a truck driver
- MR/ HR license is a must
- Ability to communicate in a qualified and courteous manner
- Ability to work without direct supervision
- Ability to manage own time effectively
- Ability to work as instructed following both verbal and written work instructions
