We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Director to lead our Venture Studio. This role is responsible for the identification, development, launch, and scaling of new ventures within our ecosystem.

The Director will operate at the intersection of strategy, investment, and execution — building ventures from concept through capitalisation and growth while ensuring disciplined governance and measurable commercial outcomes.

This is a senior leadership position requiring strong entrepreneurial capability, capital experience, and executive influence.

Key Responsibilities

- Identify and prioritise high-potential venture opportunities aligned with strategic themes
- Lead market validation, business model design, and commercial structuring
- Oversee venture incubation from concept through MVP and product-market fit

Capital & Investment Oversight

- Develop investment theses and capital allocation frameworks
- Lead fundraising processes and investor engagement
- Oversee portfolio performance and valuation growth
- Prepare board and investment committee reporting

Leadership & Team Building

- Recruit and mentor founders and venture leadership teams
- Establish governance structures and performance KPIs
- Drive a culture of accountability, innovation, and execution

Stakeholder & Ecosystem Engagement

- Build relationships with investors, partners, and industry stakeholders
- Represent the Venture Studio at executive and board level




- Align corporate and venture objectives

Experience & Background Required

Applicants should demonstrate:

Skilled Experience

- 10+ years’ experience across venture building, startups, venture capital, private equity, corporate innovation, or growth-stage leadership
- Proven track record of launching, scaling, or investing in high-growth ventures
- Direct experience with capital raising and investor negotiations
- Experience managing or overseeing multiple ventures or business units

Commercial & Strategic Capability

- Strong financial modelling and investment analysis capability
- Deep understanding of business model design and go-to-market strategy
- Experience structuring shareholder and equity arrangements

Leadership Experience

- Executive or senior leadership experience (Founder, CEO, Venture Partner, Investment Director, etc.)
- Experience working with boards and governance frameworks
- Demonstrated ability to build and lead high-performance teams

Preferred Experience

- Experience within a venture studio, incubator, accelerator, or corporate venture arm
- Experience in scaling ventures to exit or strategic integration
