About the role:

As the face of the business, you'll play a key role in creating an outstanding customer experience.

Working at the Trade Counter, you'll assist both trade professionals and retail customers by providing expert advice, recommending products, and delivering the friendly, knowledgeable service the company is renowned for.
No two days are the same—you'll build relationships with loyal customers, solve problems, and become a trusted expert in a business where your contribution truly matters.

Working Hours

- Monday to Friday: 7:30am – 5:00pm
- Every second Saturday: 8:00am – 12:00pm

Duties:

- Welcoming customers and providing exceptional service
- Assisting with product enquiries and recommending the right solutions
- Processing sales accurately and efficiently
- Building lasting relationships with trade and retail customers
- Maintaining a well-presented and organised trade counter
- Working collaboratively with your team to deliver an outstanding customer experience
- Expanding your product knowledge through ongoing training and development

About You:





You’ll thrive in this role if you enjoy working with people and take pride in delivering excellent customer service.
Ideally, you'll have:

- Previous experience in customer service, retail sales, trade sales or a similar customer-facing role
- Plumbing or building supplies experience (highly regarded)
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- A positive, can-do attitude and willingness to learn
- Robust problem-solving skills and initiative
- The ability to work well in a collaborative team environment
