About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to step into a Head Veterinary Nurse role with exposure to Practice Management, perfect for someone ready to take the next step in their career or an experienced leader looking for a current challenge.
You’ll remain clinically hands-on, while also gaining valuable experience across leadership, operations, and people management — all supported by an experienced Practice Manager who will mentor and guide you.

What you’ll be doing:

- Leading, mentoring, and supporting the nursing team day-to-day
- Coordinating workflow to ensure smooth and efficient clinic operations
- Supporting vets across anaesthesia, surgery, and patient care
- Maintaining high clinical standards, protocols, and patient outcomes
- Managing rostering and contributing to team performance and engagement
- Assisting with stock control, ordering, and equipment management
- Supporting client experience, including handling feedback and complaints
- Promoting a positive, team-oriented, and high-performing team culture
- Working a rotating roster including 1 in 3 weekends

What We’re Looking For

- Certificate IV in Veterinary Nursing (or equivalent)
- Confident across all aspects of veterinary nursing,



including anaesthesia and surgery
- An interest in leadership, with either proven experience or readiness to step up
- Strong communication, organisation, and problem-solving abilities
- A genuine passion for patient care and delivering excellent client experiences
- A team-first attitude with the ability to lead by example
