Job Description
The Process Engineer, Extrusion to Reel is responsible for leading process engineering within their area to meet safety, GMP, quality and cost targets.
Key responsibilities include:
- Establishing and maintaining robust operating windows and process conditions to achieve optimal product quality.
- Capturing, standardising and sharing process knowledge through effective procedures and working practices.
- Driving reductions in manufacturing costs through loss analysis, speed improvements,
quality enhancement and increased equipment availability.
- Providing technical, engineering and maintenance support to production teams.
- Supporting R&D;, capital, maintenance and reliability projects, including preparation of CAPEX submissions.
- Applying structured problem solving methodologies such as RCA, A3, Lean and Six Sigma to reduce process variability and improve performance.
- Managing supplier and contractor relationships in line with site procedures and engineering standards.
- Promoting a strong culture of safety, GMP compliance, professionalism and engineering excellence.
