Job Description
Infrastructure Engineers implement, manage and retire the infrastructure (including physical, virtual, networking and cloud infrastructure) that supports digital services.
Key duties and responsibilities
The Services, delivered in collaboration with and under supervision by nominated personnel, include, but are not limited to, the following:
• Work together with business users and system administrators to improve and optimise the implementation, use and management of ICT & business solutions.
• Collaborate with staff to diagnose and resolve operational and technical problems.
• Actively engage with staff to leverage solution expertise and contribute positively to expanding the clients knowledge base.
• Actively participate in software configuration planning and management.
• Actively alert management to any design, build, testing and quality risks, assumptions and dependencies that may be identified.
• Produce overall system design / implementation documentation and relevant procedures / policies.
• Enforce and adhere to all levels of compliance in the ICT environment.
• Provide knowledge/skills transfer to other teams
Requirements

Technical skills candidates would need to have (including but not limited to) are listed below:
• Microsoft endpoint management and device engineering
• SOE Design, build and automation
• Identity and access management integration
• Endpoint security hardening and compliance
• Enterprise integration and modern workplace technologies
Requirements
Key duties and responsibilities We are seeking a Senior Storage Engineer who has experience working in large complex ICT environments.
The successful candidate will be responsible for deploying, configuring, managing and tuning the department’s storage systems at physical and virtual layers.
The Senior Storage Engineer will also be responsible to deploy, configure and manage Storage Area Network Switches as required.
The successful candidate should have knowledge of recent and emerging technologies to shape the future direction of the department’s storage and data platforms.
The role requires producing design documents, build documents, operations document, handover and sharing of knowledge with other team members and mentoring junior team members.
Essential criteria 1.Demonstrated experience and knowledge in the design, administration, tuning and troubleshooting of one or more of the following storage systems: • HPE 3PAR, Primera, Alletra Storage Systems • NetApp E-Series • Dell Data Domain • Brocade Fabric Switches • SANnav • Scality Artesca 2.Ability to produce design, build and operations documents for processes and procedures.
3.Excellent communication (verbal and written) and collaboration skills to work with skilled technical people, including making presentations to staff and stakeholders and coaching staff.
4.Experience / Knowledge of following technology: • Veeam Backup and Replication
