Consultant Psychiatrist | Tertiary Mental Health Service | South Australia
The Opportunity
We are working closely with a leading tertiary mental health service in South Australia to connect with a Consultant Psychiatrist seeking a structured and high-functioning clinical workplace.
This role offers a comprehensive scope across acute and specialist mental health services within a multidisciplinary framework.

You will provide specialist psychiatric care while contributing to clinical leadership, supervision of junior medical staff, and the ongoing development of contemporary models of care.
The position includes involvement in teaching medical students and trainees, participation in clinical audit, quality improvement, and risk management activities, as well as opportunities to engage in research and academic development within the service.
This role is suited to a psychiatrist looking to work within a tertiary service with strong governance, education, and subspecialty pathways.

This is a major tertiary mental health service aligned with a large metropolitan teaching hospital, delivering specialist psychiatric care across a substantial population base.

Requirements
• Fellowship of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Psychiatrists (FRANZCP) (or equivalent)
• Specialist Registration with AHPRA (or eligibility)
• Demonstrated experience in multidisciplinary mental health care and clinical supervision
• Commitment to quality improvement, teaching, and professional development
• International Medical Graduates assessed as substantially comparable
