We are looking for a full time Insolvency Accountant to join our NSW/ACT team based in Parramatta NSW. Day to day file management of insolvency appointments (from start to finish)
- Preparation of statutory lodgements
- Liaising with directors, employees, creditors, banks, statutory authorities and other stakeholders
- Collection and investigation into records
- Prioritise and manage workloads to meet conflicting deadlines
- Analyse financial statements and diverse financial data
- Drafting of reports and preparation of creditors meetings
- Investigations into insolvent trading, voidable transactions and offences committed by officers
- Attending sites to inspect, collect and record assets and books and records
- Assisting with Fair Entitlements Guarantee claims and calculating employee entitlements.
About you
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office (Words, Excel, Outlook)
- A Bachelor Degree or equivalent in Commerce, Finance or Accounting
- Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
- CA or CPA qualified (or willing to obtain)
- ARITA Introduction to Insolvency certification
- ARITA skilled qualification (or willing to obtain)
- Previous experience in insolvency is required.
