Our venue is known for delivering high-quality food in a high-volume environment. From gourmet burgers and classic pub favourites to share plates and large-scale canapé functions, no two shifts are the same.
About the Role
As part of our kitchen team, you'll be responsible for preparing and cooking menu items to a consistently high standard while maintaining speed, quality and organisation during busy service periods.
This role offers a variety of work across à la carte dining, functions and events, making it perfect for someone who enjoys a diverse kitchen environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Preparing and cooking menu items to specification.
- Working efficiently during high-volume lunch and dinner services.
- Assisting with canapé and function preparation and service.
- Maintaining food quality, presentation and consistency.
- Following food safety, hygiene and HACCP procedures.
- Keeping your section clean, organised and well stocked.
- Working collaboratively with chefs and front-of-house staff to deliver an exceptional guest experience.
What We're Looking For
- Previous experience as a Cook in a busy restaurant, pub or similar venue.
- At least a Cert. III in Cookery or equivalent
- Ability to work calmly under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong organisational and time management skills.
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn.
- Pride in producing quality food consistently.
- Availability to work nights, weekends and public holidays.
- Food Safety Certificate (preferred).
