Academy for Early Learners is looking for a full-time Childcare Worker.
As our Childcare Worker, you will work in a warm and dynamic team based at West Pymble, Sydney.

WHAT YOU’LL DO:
- Enthusiastically deliver community programs and services appropriate to children and young families. This will include facilitating all our Supported Playgroups, and school holiday community programs and family events.
- Provide care and supervision for children in programs, at our childcare centre
- Maintain and manage the SECC Community Toy Library
- Assisting in the preparation of materials and equipment for children's education and recreational activities
- Managing children's behaviour and guiding children's social development
- Preparing and conducting activities for children
- Entertaining children by reading and playing games
- Supervising children in recreational activities
- Supervising the daily routine of children
- Supervising the hygiene of children
AS OUR IDEAL CANDIDATE, YOU WILL HAVE:
- Diploma in Early Childhood Education
- At least one year or more work exoerience in the same or similar role
- Experience working with children or within a community development role
- The demonstrated ability to network and work cooperatively with other community organisations
- A current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain one)
- A current First Aid/CPR Certificate (or willingness to obtain one)
- Ideally experience and knowledge of community and family services
