About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and motivated Formwork Carpenter to join our growing team. Working across a variety of residential and commercial projects, you will be responsible for constructing and installing formwork for concrete structures while ensuring work is completed safely, accurately, and to a high standard.

This is a full-time opportunity for a reliable tradesperson who takes pride in producing quality workmanship and enjoys working in a team environment.

Key Responsibilities

- studying drawings and specifications to determine materials required, dimensions and installation procedures
- Construct, install and dismantle timber and steel formwork for concrete structures.
- nailing fascia panels, sheathing roofs, and fitting exterior wall cladding and door and window frames
- assembling prepared wood to form structures and fittings ready to install
- Measure, cut and assemble formwork to required dimensions.
- Install shutters, braces and supports to ensure formwork is secure and aligned.




- Install door handles, locks, hardware, flooring underlay, insulating material and other fixtures
- Set out work areas and prepare sites before concrete pours.
- Follow all workplace health and safety policies and procedures.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- AQF III or IV in Carpentry or relevant field.
- Proven experience as a Formwork Carpenter within the construction industry. (2 year)
- Ability to read and interpret construction plans and technical drawings.
- Strong knowledge of formwork systems and concrete construction.
- White Card (Construction Induction Card)
- Solid attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent work ethic, reliability and punctuality.
