About the Opportunity

Our Client is seeking an experienced Supervisor or Manager - Business Services & Tax to join their growing team.

Reporting to a Director, you will play a key role in managing client relationships, delivering strategic business advice, and leading a team of accountants. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated professional looking to further develop their leadership capability while working closely with clients to deliver high-quality accounting, taxation, and advisory solutions.

Based in modern Newcastle CBD offices, you will be part of a collaborative and high-performing team that values innovation, excellence, and client success.

Key Responsibilities Reporting to a Director, you will:

- Manage a portfolio of business clients across a variety of industries
- Provide accounting, taxation, and business advisory services
- Review financial statements, tax returns, and compliance work
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of accountants
- Provide technical guidance and support to team members
- Build and maintain strong, trusted client relationships
- Assist Directors with client advisory matters and business development initiatives
- Drive quality outcomes and identify opportunities for continuous improvement

About You





- You are an experienced public practice accountant who enjoys partnering with clients, solving complex business challenges, and developing high-performing teams.
- With strong technical expertise and leadership capability, you are confident managing client relationships and delivering exceptional outcomes.

Qualifications

- CA or CPA qualified (essential)
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or equivalent

Skills & Experience

- Minimum 5 years' experience within Business Services & Tax
- Robust technical accounting and taxation knowledge
- Experience managing client relationships and advising business owners
- Demonstrated leadership, mentoring, or team management experience
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
- Proactive approach with a commitment to delivering quality outcomes
