Gantry Crane Operator (Afternoon Shift)

Location: Yagoona, NSW

Shift: Monday to Friday | 2:00 PM – 10:00 PM

Synergie has Partnered with a well known Steel Galvenising company based in Yagoona, who are currently looking for a motivated and safety-conscious Gantry Crane Operator to join our afternoon shift team. This is a hands-on role within a busy steel galvanising operation, offering stable, full time employment with opportunities for growth.

Key Responsibilities

- Safely operate overhead/gantry cranes to move steel products throughout the facility.
- Perform manual labour as required in the production process.
- Prepare, handle, and process steel products for hot-dip galvanising.
- Assist with loading and unloading steel products.
- Use hand and power tools safely and effectively.
- Conduct quality checks to ensure products meet company standards.
- Maintain a clean, safe, and organised work environment.
- Follow all workplace health, safety, and environmental procedures.
- Work collaboratively with production and dispatch teams to meet daily targets.

About You

- Previous experience operating gantry cranes in a manufacturing, steel, or industrial environment.
- Comfortable performing manual handling and physical work.




- Experience using hand and power tools.
- Strong commitment to workplace safety and quality.
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team.
- Forklift Licence (LF) is advantageous but not essential.
