We're looking for an experienced and results-driven professional to join our high-performing Consumer team, helping customers find sustainable solutions while delivering outstanding outcomes for our clients. The position focuses on complex collections activity, customer resolution, compliance, mentoring, and supporting team performance.

What You'll Be Doing:

- Managing inbound and outbound collections calls
- Negotiating payment arrangements to achieve positive outcomes for both customers and clients
- Resolving complex customer enquiries and handling objections effectively
- Identifying vulnerable customers and working closely with Financial Hardship teams to provide appropriate support
- Supporting the Team Leader and Operations Manager in delivering a team-focused approach to all collection activities
- Assisting the Team Leader with onboarding and on-phone training of new employees
- Maintaining compliance with all industry regulations, legislation, and company policies
- Achieving and exceeding KPI, quality, and performance targets
- Acting as a role model for professionalism, attendance, compliance, and customer service excellence

What You'll Need:

- Previous collections or debt recovery experience
- Strong negotiation, objection-handling, and conflict-resolution skills




- Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a high level of emotional intelligence
- Ability to manage difficult conversations with empathy and professionalism
- Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
- Experience working in a fast-paced, KPI-driven environment
- Confidence using Microsoft Office and multiple systems simultaneously
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Experience with collections platforms such as TCN and Collexus will be highly regarded.
