We are seeking a Sous Chef to work at our busy restaurant serving modern Italian and casual cuisine in the Crown Casino Entertainment Complex at Southbank. We have exciting opportunities for an experienced Sous Chef to join our busy team.
This is a full time salary based position, reporting directly to the Head Chef.
Experience will include: extensive food and product knowledge, provision of consistent quality and presentation in a rapid paced high volume environment, ability to work under pressure, working within a team and minimum 3 years experience.
Experience with Italian cuisine would be an advantage but not essential. Work is five shifts over a 7 day rotating roster which may be lunch and/or dinner service including on weekends and public holidays. Attributes will include: a passion for food and customer focused.
