Our client is an Australian poultry breeding company that specialises in producing broiler (meat chicken) breeding stock and fertile hatching eggs. The company supplies high-quality breeding birds to the Australian poultry industry and has also supported research into poultry genetics, nutrition and health.
We are currently seeking fit, energetic, committed and reliable individuals to join the team on poultry breeding farms located in the region.

Duties will include:

- Collect eggs safely and efficiently throughout each shift.
- Grade and handle eggs in accordance with quality standards.
- Maintain accurate egg production and collection records.
- Clean, maintain, and prepare poultry sheds and litter to ensure high animal welfare and hygiene standards.
- Carry out pick-up work and general flock husbandry duties.
- Assist with routine farm operations and general farm hand duties.




- Follow all workplace health and safety, biosecurity and animal welfare procedures.

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Must be currently residing in South Australia and willing to relocate to the region and travel between farms.
- Livestock Farming background - an advantage but not required.
- Must have own reliable Transport (ability to travel to and from farms without issue) and hold a valid driver’s license.
- A valuable level of physical fitness and the ability to perform repetitive manual tasks.
- The ability to stand and work on your feet for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and a reliable work ethic.
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A willingness to work in a poultry farm environment and follow strict biosecurity requirements.
- Clear and understandable spoken English.
- Must have FULL Australian Working Rights.

Pay rate starting from $ 32.18 per hour casual, plus penalty rates where applicable.

Rosters Monday to Friday, O/T depending on a
farm’s requirements.
