We are seeking compassionate and reliable Assistants in Nursing (AINs) to join our casual pool in various locations of Sunshine Coast. As an AIN, you will work under the supervision of a Registered Nurse to provide personal care and support to clients in aged care. This role is ideal for individuals who value flexibility and want to make a real difference in people's lives. "Please note: No sponsorship available. Support workers and community workers are not accepted—only aged care experience will be considered."
Key Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities including:
- Personal hygiene (bathing, grooming, toileting)
- Feeding and hydration
- Mobility assistance and transfers
- Provide emotional support and companionship
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior
- Assist with simple clinical tasks under supervision
- Maintain a clean and safe setting
- Follow care plans and document services delivered
- Adhere to infection control and manual handling procedures
Requirements
- Valid Certificate III in Individual Support, Aged Care, or Health Services Assistance (or working towards)
- Valid First Aid and CPR certification
- National Police Check (current or ability to obtain)
- NDIS Check
- Working With Children Check (if required)
- Availability for flexible shifts including weekends
- Previous experience in aged care or community care is highly desirable
