BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is seeking an experienced Agricultural Mechanic to join our Roma team in a full-time, permanent position. BDS Mechanical Repairs Aus is a rapidly growing, forward-thinking company delivering comprehensive mechanical, auto-electrical, and welding services from our fully equipped workshops and through our extensive mobile service network. Operating across Queensland and Western Australia, our fleet of more than 160 mobile service units provides reliable support throughout an area exceeding 600,000 km².
The successful candidates will possess the following:
- Relevant trade qualification
- Diagnostic experience
- Robust fault-finding skills
- Experience with AG/Farm machinery
- Good communication skills
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Additional skills, experience, tickets, and licences will be highly regarded
Your duties will include:
- Diesel engine diagnostics & repair, major and minor rebuilds
- General Repairs/maintenance works on AG/Farm machinery
- Replacing vehicle engines, steering mechanisms, transmissions and braking systems
- Checking vehicle lighting systems
- Test driving vehicles to gauge performance
- Maintaining detailed records of serviced vehicles
- Adhering to an inspection procedure checklist
