Part-Time Medical Receptionist / Administration Officer – Oncology Private Practice

We are seeking an experienced and professional Part-Time Medical Receptionist / Administration Officer to join our busy oncology private practice.

This position is for Mondays and Thursdays, with the occasional Tuesday as required. Reporting directly to one Medical Oncologist, you will provide administrative and reception support while ensuring the smooth day-to-day operation of the practice.

Key Responsibilities

- Greeting and assisting patients with empathy and professionalism.
- Managing appointments, patient enquiries, and medical records.
- Liaising with hospital departments, specialist teams, referring practitioners, and third-party providers.
- Supporting the Medical Oncologist with day-to-day administrative tasks.
- Providing efficient reception and administrative support in a busy specialist practice.

About You

The successful applicant will:





- Have previous experience in an oncology practice or a strong understanding of oncology terminology and protocols.
- Have essential experience using Zedmed practice management software.
- Be highly organised with excellent attention to detail.
- Be able to multitask and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work well both independently and as part of a team-oriented team.
- Demonstrate professionalism, compassion, and a commitment to providing outstanding patient care.
