About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you'll work within one of our 24/7 Supported Independent Living homes, supporting participants to achieve their goals while maintaining independence, dignity, and choice.

Your role may include:

- Personal care including showering, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility assistance
- Medication support and mealtime assistance
- Domestic tasks including cleaning, laundry, meal preparation, and household organisation
- Community access including appointments, shopping,



social outings, and recreational activities
- Building daily living skills and encouraging participant independence
- Accurate progress notes and reporting

We are currently seeking Support Workers for:

Mount Gravatt East – Male SIL Home

- Home shared by three friendly gentlemen
- Calm and welcoming environment
- Primarily day, afternoon, evening, sleepover, and weekend shifts
- Often staffed with two workers during peak support times
- Comprehensive training and buddy shifts provided

Salisbury – Female SIL Home

- Supporting a female participant in a warm and structured home setting
- Focus on daily living support, routine-based assistance, and community engagement
- Variety of shifts available including weekdays and weekends

Coorparoo – Male SIL Home

- Supporting a male participant with personalised supports
- Opportunity to build solid rapport and provide consistent support
- Variety of shifts available including sleepovers, weekdays, and weekends

Essential Requirements

- Certificate III in Individual Support, Disability, Community Services, or similar (or willingness to obtain), or equal amount of experience as a DSW
- Current First Aid and CPR Certificate
- NDIS Worker Screening Clearance
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- Current driver's licence
- Reliable and insured vehicle
- Smartphone for documenting supports
- Proof of working rights in Australia

Preferred Experience

Experience in any of the following will be highly regarded:

- Supported Independent Living (SIL)
- Personal care and manual handling
- Medication administration
- Positive behaviour support
- Community access and capacity building
- Record keeping and incident reporting
- Disability, aged care, or community services settings
