Mon O'Shea is a busy pub, restaurant and events venue looking for an experienced Restaurant Manager to lead the day-to-day operation of the business.
Reporting to the Director, you will take full operational responsibility across the restaurant, pub, kitchen and events, leading the team and driving the commercial performance of the venue.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Work with the head chef and kitchen team to design menus, and set dish pricing based on food costs
- Coordinate functions, events and promotional activities for the venue
- Handle purchasing and set pricing for goods within agreed budgets
- Keep track of stock levels and takings, and manage ordering and inventory
- Uphold food safety and health standards across the venue and keep the space clean and well presented
- Check in with guests to gauge how satisfied they are with the food and service
- Recruit, train, roster and oversee front of house staff
- Drive team performance against sales and cost targets
- Manage staff rosters and scheduling across all areas of the business
ABOUT YOU
- At least 2 years of experience managing a restaurant or hospitality venue
- Qualification in hospitality, business or a related field (preferred)
- Strong leadership, budgeting and stock control skills
- Sound knowledge of food safety and health regulations
- Available to work across a rotating roster including nights and weekends
WHAT WE OFFER
- Full time, ongoing position
- Salary: Successful candidate will be offered annual salary in the range of $80,000 to $100,000 plus superannuation with skills and experience.
