RD & PC Down Pty Ltd is a small family-owned business that has proudly provided a dedicated school bus service for local families for many years. We are looking for a reliable and friendly casual driver to join our team.

This position would suit someone looking for regular school-term work, such as a semi-retired driver, truck driver, farmer, or anyone wanting to supplement their income while making a positive difference in the local community.

About the role

- Morning run: Approximately 7:00 am – 8:30 am
- Afternoon run: Approximately 3:20 pm – 5:00 pm
- School terms only
- Casual position with regular work available
- Additional work may be available to cover leave

Our Mount Richmond service transports students safely between the Mount Richmond district and Portland each school day. As we operate a single bus service, you'll work independently while being well supported by our family business.

What we're looking for

We're seeking someone who is:

- Friendly, patient and enjoys working with young people
- Reliable and punctual




- Safety-focused with a qualified attitude
- Able to work independently
- A confident and courteous driver

Essential requirements

- Current MR Licence (or higher)
- Driver Accreditation (or willingness to obtain)
- Current Working with Children Check (or willingness to obtain)
- Ability to pass a commercial driver medical if required
- Good driving record
