Located 2 hours west of Melbourne in Ararat, AME Systems is a leading Australian owned, global designer and manufacturer of quality electrical wiring harness, power and signal distribution systems. We specialise in customised electrical solutions for heavy transport, aerospace, transport, rail, military, medical and special purpose vehicles and machinery, offering full service and support from design to delivery and after-market sales. Our expertise spans almost 40 years, with a long history of leadership and success in the electrical harness industry.

Anticipated Start Date: 10/8/26 or earlier if you are local!

The key elements of this role involve:

- Excellent attendance and punctuality
- Being able to work on your feet for up to 8 hours a day
- Excellent manual handling and repetitive motion abilities
- Adherence to safety requirements and company policies




- Assembling circuits and harnesses to a high quality (50PPM or less)
- Assembling circuits and harnesses effectively (within factory time)
- Accurate time and record keeping
- Valuable communication skills
- Being able to work effectively in a team
- MUST NOT be Colourblind

Desirable experience and ability:

- Sound mechanical aptitude with a high-quality awareness
- A positive attitude that fosters team spirit and cooperation
- Manufacturing experience in medium-size business

- Accommodation can be provided in a hostel style pub – 1 large room with 2x king single beds – perfect for a couple or those that don’t mind sharing – available from 5/8/26
- 2 x single rooms with king single beds – available from 10/8/26
- Accommodation is 2.5km from the factory
