About the Role
We're looking for a motivated and experienced Cook who is passionate about quality food, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and thrives as part of a supportive team.
This hands-on role offers flexible hours, including weekdays, evenings and weekends, depending on our event calendar. You'll work across a variety of services, including school camps, weddings, corporate retreats, wellness retreats, private functions and special events.
Your Responsibilities
- Preparing and presenting fresh, high-quality meals across a variety of menus
- Assisting with menu planning and contributing creative ideas
- Working collaboratively with the Chef and kitchen team
- Ensuring exceptional food quality and presentation
- Maintaining high food safety and hygiene standards
- Monitoring stock levels and assisting with ordering and stock rotation
- Supporting kitchen operations during busy services and events
- Helping deliver memorable dining experiences for every guest
About You
We're looking for someone who:
- Has previous experience as a Cook or Qualified Chef
- Loves cooking and enjoys creating a wide variety of dishes
- Is organised, reliable and able to work efficiently under pressure
- Takes pride in producing consistently high-quality food
- Enjoys working in a collaborative team environment
- Has excellent communication skills and a positive attitude
- Holds (or is willing to obtain) relevant food safety certification
- Is flexible to work a variety of shifts, including weekends and evenings
