Registered Nurse Casual - Residential Care

Catholic Homes is seeking Registered Nurses to join the team at our Trinity Village facility, located in Duncraig, on a casual basis.

Trinity Village features modern facilities and contemporary staff amenities, thoughtfully designed to meet the needs of both residents and staff.

The successful applicant will receive ongoing training from the Facility Manager and the senior care team.

Responsibilities

- Deliver skilled nursing, clinical, personal, and end-of-life care for residents according to care plans.
- Act as a role model, providing nursing leadership and working collaboratively with all members of the multi-disciplinary team, complying with the clinical governance framework and Catholic Homes' model of care.
- Complete resident assessments and develop, evaluate, and review care plans on an ongoing basis.




- Recognise residents' changing health care needs and initiate timely referrals to internal and external providers in consultation with the resident and their authorised representative.

Qualifications

- Current Registered Nurse registration through AHPRA.
- Experience working in aged, health, or community care.
- Ability to lead and work well within a team.
- Commitment to person-centered care.
- Passion and dedication for working with the elderly.
- Enthusiastic and positive demeanour.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability and commitment to uphold high standards of work.
- Right to live and work in Australia.
