Responsibilities

- Support residents to achieve their NDIS goals and build independence in daily living skills
- Provide personal care and physical support in line with individual support plans
- Support residents with community access, appointments, and recreational activities
- Work collaboratively within a team and independently when required
- Implement Positive Behaviour Support Plans (PBSPs)
- Transport clients as required




- Maintain clear and professional communication with colleagues and leaders
- Use technology, apps and digital systems to record progress and documentation

Qualifications and Mandatory Requirements

- A positive, proactive and respectful approach
- Experience supporting people with disability (level dependent on candidate)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Flexibility to work across other sites if required
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- Confidence using technology and digital systems
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Disability) – advantageous but not essential
- Willingness to undertake ongoing training and development
- Ability to meet the physical requirements of the role
- Current or willingness to obtain:
- Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (Yellow Card)
- First Aid & CPR
- National Criminal History Check (Fit2Work)
- Open Driver's Licence and access to a comprehensively insured vehicle
