Role Overview:

Fennec Services is seeking experienced and reliable skilled carpenters for both local and remote work opportunities. This role offers high pay rates, flexible arrangements and the chance to work on a variety of residential, commercial and remote-site projects.

You will join a small, supportive team that values quality workmanship, safety and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret plans, specifications and schedules to deliver works to scope
- Complete accurate material take-offs and report material needs to supervisors
- Set out works and ensure finished work conforms to dimensional requirements
- Operate hand and power tools, plant and small machinery safely and efficiently
- Undertake finish and remedial works to a high standard
- Work independently or as part of a team, supervising apprentices or labourers where required
- Travel to and work on remote project sites for extended periods when required (~2 weeks)

Preferred Skills & Experience:

- Qualified carpenter or equivalent trade experience
- Proven experience across residential builds, renovations, fit-outs or commercial projects
- Ability to work to drawings, specifications and quality standards
- Experience supervising small teams and mentoring apprentices advantageous
- Current relevant tickets and licences (e.g. white card, forklift, elevated work platform) preferred
- Valid driver's licence and willingness to travel to remote sites
- Physically fit, reliable and able to work extended shifts on remote projects
- Strong communication skills and a client-focused, problem-solving approach
