They are seeking a Senior Accountant to join their Business Services and Advisory team. By joining the team, you will have the opportunity to work alongside experienced people and develop a unique blend of taxation, management accounting and professional services skills. Responsibilities:
- Preparing financial statements, tax returns, BAS/IAS, FBT or payroll tax returns for individuals, Companies, Partnerships and Trusts.
- Expert utilisation of a range of accounting software including Xero, MYOB and QuickBooks
- Providing tax planning and business advisory services to clients, including analysing financial and non-financial information to assist clients to monitor performance
- Develop strong relationships with clients and seek to further these relationships through quality product delivery
- Recognizing potential additional work opportunities among current clients and actively promoting the firm and its services to both clients and associates.
Qualifications:
- 3-5 year of experience within Business Services, with robust technical skills;
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or similar and working towards or completed CA/CPA qualifications;
- A solid understanding of accounting standards and reporting responsibilities;
- Excellent communication skills, both verbally and written;
- Strong problem-solving and analytical skills;
- Sound working knowledge in Xero and MYOB
- Have work rights, Australian Citizenship or hold Permanent Residency status in Australia
