About the role
We're looking for two hands-on Pigging Technicians to join us on an upcoming pigging project. This is a short-term contract expected to run for 3–4 swings on a 2 weeks on / 2 weeks off roster, with attractive day rates paid.
The role is site-based across WA, with an expected start in September. You'll be working as part of a small, experienced crew. It's a practical, outdoor role suited to people who are safety-focused, reliable and comfortable working away from home.
What you'll be doing
- Assisting with all aspects of field pigging operations, including loading, launching, receiving and retrieving pigs
- Pig tracking and monitoring pig progress along the pipeline
- Operating vehicles and mobile plant in support of the works (forklift, crane truck / hiab, light and heavy vehicles)
- Cleaning and decontamination of pigs and associated equipment
- General site support - equipment mobilisation and demobilisation,
housekeeping and manual handling
- Working safely at all times in line with site procedures, permits and toolbox meetings
What you'll need
- Advanced 4WD training
- Forklift licence (LF high-risk work licence)
- Remote Area First Aid (HLTAID013 or equivalent)
- Current driver's licence
- Physically fit, with the ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- A robust safety mindset and a practical, can-do attitude
Desirable
- HR truck licence (HR-A / automatic is fine)
- Previous pigging, pipeline or oil and gas field experience
