The Branch Manager is responsible for the day to day running of the branch, which includes assigning and directing of all work performed, supervising all areas of operation, ensuring KPIs and performance measures are attained and ensuring customer satisfaction and proper branch operation is adhered to. The Branch Manager is required to have a good combination of analytical and communication skills as well as the ability to adapt to a constantly evolving industry landscape.
The Branch Manager has two teams – the Spare Parts Team and Call Centre Team. You will be required to use your leadership skills to foster a positive environment for growth and learning and hold superior skills that allow for open communication amongst staff.
The Branch Manager is required to have a hands-on approach and will be committed to the expansion and success of the business by implementing strategies that increase productivity and enable sales targets achievement.
- Direct all operational aspects including distribution operations, customer service, human resources, administration and sales
- Assess local the local market and identify current and prospective sales opportunities
- Increase the overall productivity of the branch by budgeting effectively, eliminating inefficiencies and capturing growth opportunities.
- Develop forecasts, financial objectives and business plans
- Meet goals and track using KPI’s
- Maintain fruitful relationships with current customers and establish good relationships with new ones.
- Bring out the best of branch’s personnel by providing training, coaching, development and motivation
- Locate areas of improvement and propose corrective actions that meet challenges and leverage growth opportunities
- Share knowledge with other branches and head office on effective practices, business opportunities and needs
- Address customer and employee satisfaction issues promptly
- To ensure that WH & S provisions are met in line with Wholesale Appliance Supplies policies.
