An opportunity currently exists for a Theatre Orderly to join the Pindara Day Procedure Centre on a casual basis. The successful applicants’ shifts will cover a 5-day rotating roster Monday-Friday, hours ranging between 0600-1900 hrs.

The Position

Reporting to the Clinical Services Manager & the Director of Clinical Services / General Manager, the role of the Theatre Orderly is required to transport patients and assist in the day to day functions of the Operating Suite. This includes patient positioning, theatre set ups, cleaning and restocking theatres and supporting the departments where required.

The Person

We are seeking candidates that are self-motivated, with a commitment to providing a high level of quality patient care that meets the following criteria:

- Holds or is working towards a Certificate III in Health Assistant

- Recent experience in a similar role

- Ability to assist Nursing Staff with patient care

- Ability to work in a team environment and independently as required

- Solid time management skills
