The Opportunity

As a Speech Pathologist, you will play an important role in helping people of all ages build independence, increase participation, and achieve meaningful outcomes in their everyday lives.

Based in Adelaide, you will support clients across the metropolitan area through a combination of assessments, intervention / capacity building, and report production. You will work with clients, families, support networks and other professionals to deliver evidence-informed, person-centred services tailored to individual goals and circumstances.

Key responsibilities include:

- Conducting comprehensive communication, language, speech, voice, fluency, literacy and swallowing assessments
- Developing individualised therapy plans and evidence-based intervention strategies
- Delivering therapy and capacity-building supports to clients across a range of ages and clinical presentations
- Completing reports and documentation to support funding and service outcomes
- Assessing, recommending and implementing augmentative and alternative communication (AAC) and other communication supports where appropriate
- Providing education, coaching and practical strategies to families, carers, educators and support workers to promote communication outcomes
- Managing a caseload while maintaining high clinical,



ethical and professional standards

This position offers the opportunity to work across a diverse caseload while enjoying the variety that comes with community practice. You will be supported by an experienced clinical leadership team and a broader multi-disciplinary team, while having the autonomy to develop your clinical interests and make an impactful contribution to the local community.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- A Bachelor of Speech Pathology (or equivalent qualification)
- Current SPA registration
- A current driver's licence and willingness to travel within the community
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Effective time management and organisational skills
- The ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- A commitment to ongoing professional development and continuous improvement
