McArthur is inviting expressions of interest from experienced Commonwealth Government professionals for potential upcoming temporary and contract assignments across Canberra.

Essential requirements
To be considered for this talent pool, applicants must:
- Be an Australian citizen
- Have recent experience working directly within a Commonwealth Government department or agency, or delivering services to a Commonwealth Government client
- Demonstrate experience relevant to policy, program, project, governance or stakeholder engagement work
- Be based in Canberra or able to work onsite in Canberra when required
- Be willing and eligible to obtain and maintain an Australian Government security clearance
- Have strong written communication, research and stakeholder-management skills
Existing Baseline, NV1 or NV2 security clearance will be highly regarded but is not mandatory for every potential assignment.
About you
Successful applicants will ideally demonstrate:
- A sound understanding of Commonwealth Government processes and the APS operating environment
- Experience preparing briefs, reports, correspondence and executive documentation
- The ability to analyse complex information and provide clear recommendations
- Strong organisational skills and the ability to manage competing priorities
- Experience coordinating stakeholders across government, industry or the community
- The ability to work effectively in multidisciplinary and changing environments
- Relevant tertiary qualifications or equivalent qualified experience
