About us

Wells Medical WA is a Medical Sales and Distribution business based in Jolimont, Perth. Our core business is representing Corin Australia, a UK-based orthopaedic implant and technology supplier, as their distributor in Western Australia. Corin is now the second most widely used hip replacement system in Australia.

In addition to Corin, Wells Medical represents DeSoutter Medical, a UK-based manufacturer and supplier of high-quality medical power tools. We also act as a sales agent for Wilhelm Integrated Solutions, a Sydney-based provider of hospital theatre installation services and medical technology with whom we have recently installed operating theatres in the new SJOG Midland and Orthonova Hospitals.

Wells Medical WA runs a comprehensive clean office warehouse for the management of the products that we distribute. We also provide a highly experienced and skilled sales and support service representing our suppliers to the hospitals and surgeons that we work with.

Because we're a small business, every person genuinely matters. Good ideas are listened to, everyone contributes to improving how we work, and you'll see the impact of what you do every day. We combine that close-knit culture with the backing of global medical technology companies.

About the role

Every day, hospitals across Perth rely on us to deliver the specialised instruments and implants needed for orthopaedic surgery. This role carries genuine responsibility, helping ensure the right equipment reaches the right hospital at the right time. If you enjoy driving, working independently and taking pride in getting the details right, this could be an ideal role for you.

This is a hybrid role combining hospital deliveries with warehouse operations. Approximately 50–70% of your time will be spent on the road delivering orthopaedic instruments and surgical kits to hospitals across Perth, with the remainder spent assembling kits, managing inventory and supporting warehouse operations.

When a patient requires orthopaedic surgery, a medical device loan kit containing the necessary instruments and implants is prepared and supplied for the procedure. These loan kits are assembled and inspected by our team, before heading out of our warehouse to the hospital and eventually the surgeon’s operating theatre.

This hybrid role will be integral to our small warehouse team, which manages this process from beginning to end. Based in our Jolimont office location, you'll play an important role in ensuring surgical teams receive the equipment they need, when they need it. Full training will be provided on our products and processes.

As this role directly supports scheduled surgeries and hospital requirements, attention to detail and reliability are essential. Timely deliveries and accurate kit preparation are critical to ensuring hospitals receive the equipment they need without delay. Success in this role isn't about rushing—it's about consistently delivering the right equipment, in the right place, at the right time. Accuracy and reliability are what matter most.

Key Responsibilities

- Prepare surgical instrument and implant kits for upcoming operations.

- Inspect kits to ensure every item is complete and accurate.

- Deliver equipment safely and on time to hospitals across Perth.

- Maintain inventory accuracy.

- Assist with warehouse organisation.

- Communicate with hospitals and the sales team.

Who We’re Looking For

You are someone who takes pride in your work and understands the importance of reliability and accuracy. You enjoy being out on the road as much as working in the warehouse and are comfortable switching between deliveries, customer interactions and detailed warehouse tasks throughout the day.
