Company Description Muzcorp Industries is a Western Australian owned and operated excavator specialist field service company, providing heavy mobile equipment maintenance across mine sites in the Pilbara, Goldfields and Queensland. The team consists of dual-trade qualified heavy diesel and light vehicle mechanics, as well as auto electricians, offering broad maintenance capability across heavy equipment and light vehicle fleets. Founded in 2022, Muzcorp delivers preventative maintenance, breakdown repairs, component overhauls, shutdown support and technical services for Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu and Caterpillar fleets. The company operates a fleet of mine-specification service vehicles, arrives on site fully self-sufficient, and has maintained a zero-harm safety record since inception. Muzcorp currently services gold, iron ore, lithium and coal operations and is available for FIFO/DIDO deployment across Australia.
Role Description This is a full time, on-site Heavy Diesel Fitter role based in Perth, WA, supporting mine and field service operations. 2/1 or 2/2 rosters available.Day-to-day responsibilities include performing scheduled and preventative maintenance on heavy mobile equipment, diagnosing and repairing mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic faults, and conducting component change-outs and overhauls to OEM standards.



The role involves responding to breakdowns, completing detailed service reports, and working safely within mine-site procedures and Muzcorp’s zero-harm standards. The Heavy Diesel Fitter will collaborate with mechanics and auto electricians, ensure tools and service vehicles are maintained to mine specification, and may be required to undertake FIFO/DIDO travel to remote sites as needed.
QualificationsCandidates should possess strong skills in Diesel Mechanics and Heavy Equipment service and repair.Candidates should possess solid Equipment Maintenance and Vehicle Maintenance capabilities across mobile mining fleets.Candidates should possess proven expertise in Preventive Maintenance, including scheduled servicing and condition monitoring.Relevant trade qualification as a Heavy Diesel Fitter/Mechanic (or equivalent) and experience in mining or heavy industry environments.Knowledge of hydraulic systems, diagnostic tools, and OEM specifications for brands such as Liebherr, Hitachi, Komatsu and Caterpillar.Commitment to safety, ability to follow mine-site procedures, and capacity to work in remote and demanding field conditions.Valid driver’s licence; mine-site inductions, high-risk work licences, and FIFO/DIDO experience are advantageous.
