Pumps Australia Pty Ltd is a well-established, family-operated Australian business, proudly manufacturing and wholesaling pumps, pressure cleaners and pumping systems since 1997.

We supply customers across a wide range of industries, including agriculture, mining, construction, industrial and water management. We are known for our reliable products, technical knowledge and strong customer service, supplying customers Australia-wide and exporting internationally.

We’re expanding! In 2027, we’ll move to a new, purpose-built facility in Welshpool.

The Role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Internal Sales Representative with some previous experience selling pumps, pressure cleaners or similar industrial equipment to join our Welshpool team.

This is a hands-on internal sales role where you will work directly with customers to understand their requirements, recommend suitable products, prepare quotations and process orders.

You don’t need to know everything about our product range from day one. We will provide further product and technical training, but some previous experience with pumps, pressure cleaners or related equipment would be highly regarded.

Key Responsibilities

- Respond to customer enquiries by phone, email and over the counter

- Identify customer requirements and recommend suitable products and solutions

- Prepare quotations and follow up sales opportunities

- Process sales orders accurately and efficiently

- Provide product and basic technical advice to customers

- Build robust relationships with new and existing customers

- Work closely with our workshop,



warehouse and despatch teams to ensure orders are completed and delivered on time

- Maintain accurate customer, quotation and sales information in our ERP/CRM system

- Assist with despatch and product handling when required

About You

We’re looking for someone experienced, confident and self-driven.

You’ll ideally have:

- Previous sales experience with pumps, pressure cleaners, pumping equipment or similar industrial products

- A practical understanding of pumps and/or pressure cleaning equipment would be an advantage

- Strong communication and customer service skills

- Confidence dealing with customers over the phone, by email and face-to-face

- Ability to understand customer needs and recommend appropriate products

- Good attention to detail and organisational skills

- A positive, practical and team-focused attitude

- Comfortable working in a hands-on industrial environment

- Basic computer skills, including Microsoft Office
