Paediatric Registrar

Location: Perth, Western Australia

Employment Type: Full-Time Fixed-Term (12 Months)

Salary: $125,000 - $170,000 p.a.

Start Date: 2 February 2027

About the Role

Join a busy paediatric team providing inpatient and outpatient care under consultant supervision. Gain exposure to general paediatrics, neonatal care, acute presentations, and emergency responses while working within a supportive multidisciplinary environment. This is a full-time position working rostered days, evenings, nights, and on-call shifts as required under the EBA. International candidates can be considered.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide care to paediatric and neonatal patients.
- Participate in ward rounds, clinics, and multidisciplinary care.
- Manage admissions, investigations, and discharge planning.
- Respond to paediatric emergencies and neonatal resuscitations.
- Participate in after-hours and on-call rosters.

Essential Criteria

- Eligible for AHPRA registration.
- Minimum 2 years postgraduate clinical experience.
- Previous paediatric and acute care experience.
- Experience managing acutely unwell children and neonates.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and clinical skills.
