NXT GIG is currently seeking a compassionate and dedicated Aged Care Nurse to join our team. In this rewarding position, you will provide high-quality nursing care to elderly patients in a variety of settings, including residential aged care facilities and community health environments.
You will assess the physical and emotional needs of residents, develop personalized care plans, and work collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to enhance the quality of life of our patients. Responsibilities

- Conduct comprehensive assessments of residents' health and well-being, identifying their individual care needs
- Develop, implement, and evaluate personalized care plans in collaboration with the healthcare team
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed,



while monitoring for side effects and effectiveness
- Provide emotional support and companionship to residents and their families
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records and documentation
- Educate residents and their families about health management and available resources
- Stay informed about best practices in aged care and comply with regulatory standards

Requirements

- Registered Nurse (RN) qualification and current nursing license
- Experience in aged care nursing or a similar healthcare setting is highly desirable
- Solid clinical assessment and critical-thinking skills
- Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a team and independently
- Compassionate nature and a passion for improving the lives of elderly individuals
- Knowledge of relevant regulations and best practices in aged care
