This is a Recruitment Pool for Permanent Full-Time, Permanent Part-Time, Fixed Term Full-Time, Fixed Term Part time and Casual appointments with the possibility of extension(s)and/or permanency.

Position Profile: As part of a multidisciplinary team the clinical nurse provides clinical and professional expertise to ensure comprehensive evidence‑based nursing care is delivered to consumers. The clinical nurse facilitates and promotes consumer safety and quality of care whilst working within their scope of practice in accordance with the Nursing and Midwifery Board’s Nursing Practice Decision Flowchart.

Area Profile: The East Metropolitan Health Service comprises an extensive hospital and health service network that aims to maintain and improve the health and wellbeing of more than 670,000 Western Australians in its catchment area.

Our hospital network works together to provide a combination of tertiary, secondary and specialist health care services including emergency and critical care, state trauma, elective and emergency surgery, general medical, mental health, inpatient and outpatient services, aged care, palliative care, rehabilitation and women’s, children’s and neonates services.

The EMHS consists of Royal Perth Hospital; Armadale Health Service; Bentley Health Service; Kalamunda Hospital; St John of God Midland Public Hospital and a range of community and population health services. In November 2024, Next Step Services transitioned into the Royal Perth Bentley Group (RPBG) Hospital Logistics and Acute Access Division (HoLAA) within the East Metropolitan Health Service.

Midland Community Mental Health Centre is part of Bentley Health Service and is situated in the heart of Midland; it is easily accessible via public transport and is close to Midland Gate Shopping Centre.



It is a multidisciplinary tertiary mental health service providing specialist Mental Health care and care coordination for eligible consumers aged from 18 years in the Swan/Hills catchment.

Multidisciplinary teams work with consumers to achieve their recovery goals and return to primary care in the community.
